Going for a run?
No phone?
No problem!
TrackMyRun streams pace, distance, heart rate, and your live route from your LTE enabled Apple Watch to a private dashboard so your family and friends can follow in real time. Run free without your phone.
A running app built around the people watching.
Most run trackers require family and friends to download an app or create an account. TrackMyRun keeps the people cheering you on in the loop — with only a click for them.
Live from your wrist
Pace, distance, heart rate, and a live GPS map streamed straight from Apple Watch.

Keep them in the loop -
so they know exactly
how it's going.
Share your dedicated dashboard URL with friends and family. Or have your watch automatically send a single, short text when a run begins — so the people you've added know they can check in on you.
-
Who receives the auto-text Only contacts you personally add inside the iPhone app, with their permission. Maximum of two.
-
When it sends Once when a run begins. We never send marketing, promotions, or daily messages.
-
Opting out Recipients can reply STOP to any message and will never receive another. You can also remove a contact in the iPhone app at any time.
Built quietly, on purpose.
TrackMyRun is built by a runner for runners. We do not display ads, do not track you across the web, and do not share, sell, or rent your phone number.
Encrypted accounts
Passwords are hashed with Argon2. Tokens are hashed before storage. Account data lives on managed PostgreSQL.
Short-lived run data
By default, your live run data expires 24 hours after you finish. You can shorten this to as little as five minutes.
Delete anything, anytime
Remove a contact, regenerate your dashboard link, or wipe your entire account from inside the iPhone app.
Frequently asked.
What do I need to use TrackMyRun?
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later, paired with an Apple Watch (Series 4 or newer) on watchOS 10+. A subscription is required to broadcast runs and is billed through Apple.
Who can see my dashboard?
Only people you give your dashboard link to. The link contains a private viewing token — no password is required to view, but the link is unguessable. You can regenerate the link at any time, which immediately revokes access for anyone who had the old one.
How do SMS notifications work?
You add up to two phone numbers in the iPhone app, with the recipient's permission. When you start a run, TrackMyRun sends each contact a single text message containing your name and a link to your live dashboard. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and you can remove them at any time.
How is my data protected?
All connections use HTTPS. Live run data is stored in Redis with a configurable expiry (default 24 hours). Phone numbers added as notification contacts are stored only to deliver run-start texts and are never shared with anyone except Twilio, our SMS delivery provider. Read the privacy policy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iPhone, select TrackMyRun, and tap Cancel. Refunds are handled by Apple's standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my account?
Open the iPhone app, go to Account, and tap Delete Account. This removes your credentials, run data, location trail, and notification contacts permanently. You can also email [email protected] if you can't reach the in-app option.
